Boardwalk Incident Update

Per the statement released by the Santa Cruz Police Department earlier tonight and additional information, local police responded to reports of a small fight and shots fired in the parking lot across the street from the park.

At this time, no injuries have been reported, no one was struck, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The area has been secured. Investigation remains active. We appreciate the swift response of our security officers and local law enforcement. We will share updates as appropriate.
