Boardwalk Accessibility Info
The following information is provided for visitors with special needs.
Please let a Boardwalk employee know if you need help or assistance during your visit. If you have specific personal questions, please call (831) 423-5590 or ask an employee to contact the Manager on Duty.
Parking is provided for vehicles displaying a handicapped placard or license plate. These parking spaces are along the front row of the Beach Street Parking Lot, as well as in the River Parking Lot and Leibrandt Parking Lot. Ask the Parking Attendant for directions. You must still pay the parking fee, which is posted at each lot’s entrance.
Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Guest Services Office near the Haunted Castle ride. There is no fee, but a photo ID and credit card imprint are required as a deposit. First come first served. The City of Santa Cruz has several beach wheelchairs available free of charge from lifeguard station #1 on Cowell Beach near the Wharf. Please check at any ticket booth or the Guest Service Office near the Haunted Castle ride for information regarding ride accessibility.
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the Boardwalk, as well as inside Neptune’s Kingdom and Boardwalk Bowl.
First Aid Office
Located near the Haunted Castle ride, the First Aid Office can store medications requiring refrigeration.

A TDD Phone is located at Entrance 3 near the Carousel.

FREE Friday Night Concerts
Accommodations for guests with disabilities at the Friday Night Concerts are provided on a “first come first served” basis in two locations. One section is reserved for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. The other section is reserved for mobility-impaired guests plus one companion. If you require other special accommodations, please contact the Manager on Duty at least 48 hours in advance of the concert at (831) 423-5590.
