SANTA CRUZ, CA (April 10, 2006) - The Santa Cruz Boardwalk has been named "Best of America" by the editors of Reader’s Digest magazine. The Boardwalk was recognized for "Best Seaside Strolls."
Citing the Giant Dipper roller coaster, beach volleyball, and plenty of sun, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is among seven "seaside strolls" nationwide worthy of a Reader's Digest mention, and one of only two in California. The top 100 “Best of America” issue debuts on newsstands April 18, 2006.
